Chopped Liver – Flower of Scotland

Oh what joy it is to be a Scot when the World Cup is on.

Gone are the days when we are good enough to qualify ourselves and be a laughing stock around the world.

Gone are the days when we have to field off those relentless accusations of having crap Scottish goalkeepers.

Now we can cheer on England and, genuinely, hope that they win. And when they lose, or draw, as a result of yet more calamatous goalkeeping, we can just laugh our heads off!

Doh!

Oh well, only David James can save England now. (nickname – Calamity James). Can’t wait.

Now I brace myself for the inevitable – “What do you call a Scotsman at the World Cup? Answer: A Referee.
