Chopped Liver – The Life of Bri… David

Weedy’s 6 tomorrow.

I ordered the mad fish man to deliver a cool fish tonight for his birthday.

The mad fish man is one of the country’s foremost experts in fish and plant life in the UK – he writes loads of articles for publications. He has this unique method of ordering huge jars of Pretzels – I said Pretzels – from America. He eats the pretzels or does whatever it is he does with them and fills the empty jar with water, stones, plants and a beautiful Paradise Fish. And when you look through the jar it magnifies everything – oh, it’s so cool.

He delivers it to your house and puts the biggest smile on your little boy’s face. It’s a service with pride and no small amount of joy.

Come here... my little pretzel

He calls the fish “Brian”.

It’s a good name. But B suggested Weedy think of his own name – so he does… I want to call it… “David”.

Great. David the fish.

Meet Dave – he swims like a fish.

Anyway, whatever. I just hope Bria… David has better luck than his namesake’s pets – Lucky the Cat – who got run over. Speedy the Tortoise – who ran away – yes, I know … but he wasn’t called Speedy for nothing. Or our 2 hamsters – y’know I think the least said about those 2 unfortunate creatures the better.
