Chopped Liver – Friday I’m in Glove

Those poor unfortunate souls having to play football in cold weather. They didn’t have cold weather in the old days y’know – tropical winters we had.

Then players like John Barnes started wearing tights!

And some wore gloves.

And now scarves.

Let me tell you – I have played footy in all weathers. Freezing cold, wind, rain – it is a bit chilly when you first start – but you run around a bit, and you don’t feel it. In fact, it can be invigorating.

But I guess when you are earning 1000k a week, you make your own choices in life.

Now – it is a brand new industry. Tevez and the like, wearing these ridiculous scarf thingys – it’s not cricket! Soon, they will be branded – with advertising enblazened across them – maybe they’ll have a small electrical current flowing through – provide a little glow around the body – a la Ready Brek.

Now there… are 3…. steps to… carry a donor card – ooh, wap wap!
Just follow steps 1, 2 and 3.
